Handmade Handbag

I found some vintage yarn, vintage beads, old tulle (not sure how old), and old buttons... So I attempted a vintage style handbag. It took me way too long but it is very cute.

Compass...

I have been working on my compass.
I have been looking for direction.
I am so off the path, that I find myself in the middle of an open field and
I can go in any direction.
But now that I know that - I have stopped and I am stuck
I don't know which way to go.
I feel like I have been here a while
side-stepping this way and that way.
I thought: maybe I should make a compass,
but if I did I still wouldn't know
should I go North, South East or West or some combination?

Just a thought.

Signs, Dolls, Paper Doll on a Sign, and...

Water Bottle Doll

So I remade my water bottle (or two) into a doll. (Obviously I am out of birdhouses.) She is made completely out of water bottle plastic and wire, dressed in yarn and fabric with a hand painted face.

All recycled, re-purposed, up-cycled items from around the house.

Bird Houses - City Clean-up Day

This birdhouse was made with objects found on the streets of my home town while volunteering on a city clean-up day. It also has parts of news paper articles about the city clean-up day.
I thought a birdhouse was fitting since this town currently has an over-population of birds that has become an issue.
